SENSORIAL LEARNING CARDS

"Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate systematically and truly all that comes under thy observation in life."

-Marcus Aurelius

"We cannot create observers by saying 'observe', but by giving them the power and the means for this observation."

-Maria Montessori

Maria Montessori was a keen observer of children, and she also tried to teach children to become good observers of their environments. Observation skill is key to many vital human activities, such as communication, decision making, and research. In Montessori education, children refine their senses and learn to attend to their environments through sensorial activities that exercise their visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and gustatory perception. We hope you enjoy those fun activities with your little ones. We will continue to add more sensorial learning cards, so stay tuned!
